Members of the Press are hereby informed of the following events on H.H. the Vice President, Lt. Gen. Mompati Merafhe's calendar:

Monday 16th February @ 1130 hrs: There will be a farewell Call on HH by the outgoing Chinese Ambassador, HE Mr. Din Xiaowen. (Photo opportunity)

Saturday 21 February @ 1400 hrs: His Honour will be the Guest of Honour at the Launch of BDP Parliamentary & Council Candidates for Francistown East: Venue: Francistown City Centre Square near Galo and BBS Complex.

Sunday 22nd February @ 10:00 hrs: Guest of Honour at Launch of BDP Parliamentary & Council Candidates for Tati West. Venue: Moroka village

Monday 23rd February @ 1600 hrs: H.H. the Vice President will tour the Daheng Group Factory at Gaborone Block 3 Industrial.

Thursday 26th February @ 1400 hrs: H.H. the Vice President will be the Guest of Honour at Official Opening and 10th Anniversary of Rainbow School

Venue: Rainbow School, Gaborone. (Please not the change of time from 10:00 hrs to 1400 hrs on this item)

Sat. 28th February @ 14:00 hrs: H.H. the Vice President will be the Guest of Honour at the launch of BDP Parliamentary and Council candidates for Bobirwa. Venue: Bobonong

Thursday 5th March @ 0900 hrs: H.H. the Vice President will address Kgotla meeting at Lokqwabe village, Kgalagadi North

Friday 6th March @ 0900 hrs: H.H. the Vice President will address Kgotla meeting at Tsabong

Saturday 7th March @ 1400 hrs: H.H. the Vice President will be the Guest of Honour at the launch of the BDP Parliamentary and Council Candidates for Kgalagadi South. Venue: Tsabong

Saturday 14th March @ 1400 hrs: H.H. the Vice President will be Guest of Honour at the launch of the BDP Parliamentary and Council Candidates for South East South. Venue: Ramotswa

Saturday 21 March @ 1400 hrs: H.H. the Vice President will be the Guest of Honour at the launch of the BDP Parliamentary and Council Candidates for Tswapong South. Venue: Mokobeng

Friday 27th March @ 19:00 hrs: H.H. the Vice President will attend Farewell Reception For retiring BDF Deputy Commander, Major General Tlhokwane. Venue: Sir Seretse Khama Barracks
