C3) 5/3/09: Botswana President Khama to be featured on global premier of CNN's African Voices


This Office is pleased to confirm that H.E. the President, Lt. Gen. Seretse Khama Ian Khama, will be profiled on this weekend's global premier of the new CNN International programme "African Voices"

The programme will air at the following local (CAT) times throughout Africa, Europe and the Middle East:

Saturday 7th March 2009 at 1430hrs and 2130hrs
Sunday 8th March 2009 at 2000hrs [Subsequently shifted to 1900hrs]

Non CAT time zone viewers are further advised that the above CAT times are +2 hours GMT and + 1 hour CET.

According to a CNN press release its new show "African Voices," will: "Highlight Africa's most engaging personalities, exploring the lives and passions of people who rarely open themselves up to the camera. African Voices reveals the energy and inspiration of some of the continent's most interesting and influential characters, as well as of those who think of Africa as home. Presenting the personal insights of the people making headlines and instigating change in Africa and throughout the world, African Voices also explores the bigger issues and challenges facing the continent."

We are naturally pleased that our President was approached to be featured in "African Voices'" premier episode.
