C10) 16/7/10: July FIFA Rankings - Botswana advances 23 places to enter top 100

FIFA has announced its latest, July, national team rankings, the first since this year's World Cup Competition. In the rankings Botswana's Zebras have climbed 23 places to achieve 93 position in the global rankings.

Botswana was the second most improved team, closely following New Zealand, which climbed 24 places to 54 position following its unbeaten performance in the first round of the World Cup.

Other notable improvers were Paraguay now at 16 position and South Africa at 66 position.

FIFA latest top ten are: 1 Spain, 2 Netherlands, 3 Brazil, 4 Germany, 5 Argentina, 6 Uruguay, 7 England, 8 Portugal, 9 Egypt, and 10 Chile.

While New Zealand followed by Botswana recorded the largest advances in the rankings rank, Haiti falling by 39 positions to 130, followed by Canada which dropped 37 positions to 100.
