C7) 22/4/09: H.E. the President to visit Moshupa constituency

Interested Members of the Press are here informed that His Excellency the President, Lt. Gen. S.K.I. Khama, is scheduled to visit communities in the Moshupa Constituency on the 7th of May 2009. His Excellency's itinerary is as follows;

0830 - 1030 hrs - Manyana   - Kgotla meeting
1130 - 1300 hrs  - Lotlhakane West - Greetings
1430 - 1600 hrs - Ralekgetho - Greetings
1630 - 1930 hrs - Moshupa - Greetings & Evening Event

C8) 23/4/09: PRESS NOTCE - UPDATE - H.H. the Vice President's Press Schedule April-May

1. Saturday 25th April, 2009 @ 1400 hrs: H.H. the Vice President will launch the Kanye North BDP Parliamentary and Council candidates. Venue: Matsaakgang Primary School. At 2000 hrs: His Honour will attend the Kanye North Fund Raising dinner. Venue: Kanye Education Centre.

2. Wednesday 29th April, 2009 @ 1430 hrs: H.H. the Vice President, Lt. Gen. Mompati Merafhe, together with the Hon. Minister of Finance and Development Planning, Mr. Baledzi Gaolathe, and the Hon. Minister of Education and Skills Development, Mr. Jacob Nkate, will address a press briefing at the Mass Media Complex Auditorium. The briefing will focus on the economic challenges facing the nation and how Government plans to tackle them.

3. Thursday 30th April, 2009 @ 0800 hrs: H.H. the Vice President attend the official opening ceremony of the BDP Women's Wing Congress. Venue: Tsabong

4. Saturday 2nd May, 2009 @ 0800 hrs: H.H. the Vice President will attend and speak at the Sandveld Farmers Association Field Day. Makoba (not far from Malatswai)

5. Thursday 7th May, 2009 @ 0920 hrs: H.H. the Vice President will receive the visiting Vice President of Cuba, H.E. Mr Estaben Lazo Hernandez at the SSKI Airport.

6. Thursday 7th May, 2009 @ 1145 hrs: H.H. the Vice President will receive a courtesy call on the VP by H.E. Mr Estaben Lazo Hermandez. Venue: OP Conference Room (photo shoot only)

7. Thursday 7th May, 2009 @ 1230 hrs: H.H. the Vice President will host the Vice President of Cuba to lunch. Venue: Gaborone Sun

8. Friday 8th May, 2009 @ 1755 hrs: H.H. the Vice President will bid farewell to the Vice President of Cuba, H.E. Mr Estaben Lazo Hermandez. Venue: SSKI Airport.

9. Monday 11th May, 2009 H.H. the Vice President will depart for New York to receive the Best African Country Award on behalf of His Excellency the President.

10. Wednesday 13th May, 2009 H.H. the Vice President will receive the Best African Country Award in New York.
